The Ice Breaker

Who are you? I’m Maisie. Let’s break the ice a bit. I started this blog approximately 372 days ago. I haven’t really had the time to post on here, sorry about that. I have been busy with school recently and been doing lots of homework! I get 13 pieces a week! It can be a little hard to keep on top of it  sometimes, but I’m getting used to it. On October the second 2015 I  fractured my Distal Radius. Nope, I had never heard of that either, until then obviously. I was doing what I love doing most, sport. On the topic of sport I have showed an interest in a new sport, Hockey. At the moment I only play for school but I really do love it. Obviously my wrist (that’s where the distal radius is) slowed me down a bit, but I’m getting there. Before I fractured my wrist I started to play rugby for school because I played tag rugby for primary school, and I realised why you need a gumshield!! I did not continue with Rugby because of my wrist but I don’t mind. Another hobby of mine is the ukelele, I can play many different songs, I’m yours by Jason Mraz, Twinkle twinkle little star, Sam Smith’s stay with me and many more. Now enough about me, I want to know about you. Sit back, relax and type wherever your fingers take you.

Relationships

Dear Diary,

Mum started her new job today. Clairvoyant. That’s what it is. Or a medium, I’m not really sure, her jobs are always very unique, just like her. At the moment It’s just us, I want it to stay that way, not forever but for a while. Her stories are amazing, police chases, wild goose chase,  all that wild stuff, we love that. There’s one story that I’ll always remember, the one that nearly took her life away. The sirens still ring in her mind, as they turned the corner that’s where it all happened, that was nearly her life gone. We are close friends. We are best friends. Friends for life.

Beauty

Beauty. It’s skin deep. Some people don’t believe it is. I do. It is skin deep and I’m going to tell you how. You’re not only beautiful on the outside, your personality is beautiful, you need to embrace inner beauty. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover, so don’t judge a human by it’s outside. People are like each other, without realising. Like Mother like Daughter, like Father like Son. Do you see it now? Do you understand? Do you feel your inner beauty becoming your outer beauty? We’re like pineapples, kind of, sometimes not very pretty on the outside, but sweet, succulent and juicy on the inside. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Don’t judge a Person by their look. Assumptions. That’s what they are.

Medals

Dear Diary,

Today was a great day. I achieved something great. Oh and it was my birthday, bonus! Swimming I was, I SWAM the greatest distance, 4 whole miles. When I got to the end, CAREFULLY I took my goggles off and saw something amazing. Coaches and judges came hurdling towards me, like a herd of elephants. Medals, lots of them, I figured I had won, but what? The medals were beautiful, catching the light. One of them had gorgeous GREEN ribbon that almost sent a tingle down my spine. Suddenly one of them was dropped, dropped down a PIPE. We could hear it in the pipe. Trotting like a HORSE. Clank. Clang.

It’s That Time Of Year Again!

Christmas. It’s my favourite time of year. Some would say ‘ it’s the time of year to help those near’. Christmas is not all about receiving gifts, it’s also about giving gifts. It’s a joy seeing your family member’s face lighting up with excitement when they rip open their gifts you have bought them.

Beached

my piece of writing!!

6N Class Blog

I have feelings. At that precise moment I felt like a beached whale. Watching the world go by,I swallowed my pride and my dignity. It was like my world flashed before my eyes. Saying goodbye to my little luxuries of life because my days of glory were over. Sailing over the world with my loyal companion ending their time on earth. Crashing waves hit the cliff side, which brought down chalky debris. Oceans, I have traveled far on you, and in my days yet to come I want to travel further on you. I mourn for you, and I always will.

Hey Guys!

Hey Guys! This is my first ever blog post! I’m so excited to tell you about myself, so lets get started! I love to learn something new whenever I have the opportunity to. I think it is great to do new things, because hey! Don’t we all? I always like to think positive to keep the spirit flowing. I would love to get a great experience from doing this blog. As it’s the christmassy season I would love to do some MERRY things.
